Most people do not start looking for Snov.io alternatives because the tool stopped working. They start looking because the bill stopped matching the output.
The pattern shows up in review after review. Credits run dry halfway through the month. Recipients expire without rolling over, even on a paid plan. An address the verifier marked valid bounces anyway, and the domain takes the hit.
Then there is the part that catches teams off guard. Snov.io has no phone data at all, and LinkedIn automation costs $69 per slot per month on top of the base plan. For three SDRs, that is $2,484 a year before anyone sends a single email.
That is not a tool problem you can fix with better copy. That is an infrastructure and cost-structure problem, and switching is the honest fix.
So I went through every pricing page, the G2 and Capterra review patterns, and the real monthly cost of running each tool with a three-person team sending 1,000 emails a day. Below is what I found, ranked by who actually gets the most out of each one.
Let's get into it.
Headline pricing tells you almost nothing about what a tool costs to run. I used five filters instead.
I priced every tool for three SDRs sending roughly 30,000 emails a month. Per-seat tools look cheap at one user and expensive at three. That gap is where most budgets break.
Warmup is not a nice extra, it is the thing keeping your domains alive. Some tools include it, some charge for a better pool, and one dropped it entirely.
If you want the full picture on this, I have a longer breakdown of email warmup tools.
A database figure means little if the addresses bounce. I looked at verification method, reported bounce complaints, and whether phone data exists at all.
The same logic applies when you build email list sources from scratch.
Snov.io charges extra for LinkedIn, so I checked what each alternative includes natively. Native matters because Chrome extension automation needs a browser open to run.
Volume exposes weak spots.
I checked send caps, inbox rotation behaviour, and whether a tool quietly pauses campaigns without telling you.
Here is each tool in order, with what it does well and where it falls short.
Salesforge is the best Snov.io alternative because email and LinkedIn run in one sequence natively, and the price does not rise when you add people to the team.
That second point is the one that actually moves the budget. Three SDRs on the Growth plan pay $80 a month in total, with unlimited users and unlimited mailboxes included. The same three people cost $237 a month on Apollo and $267 on Reply.io, because both charge per seat.

Warmup runs through Warmforge at no extra cost, which removes the separate $50 to $100 monthly line item that Apollo users now have to budget for. Replies from both email and LinkedIn land in Primebox, so you are not switching tabs to answer a prospect.
There is also Agent Frank, the AI SDR built into the platform. You hire him to prospect, write, send and follow up on Auto-Pilot, or keep him on Co-Pilot and approve his drafts before they go out. He runs in 20+ languages and comes with a dedicated account manager, which is unusual at this price point.
I covered how the platform handles day-to-day sending in more detail in this Salesforge review.

Volume is where Instantly earns its place on this list, and the 4.2 million inbox warmup network behind it is genuinely large.
Unlimited email account connections come on every paid sending plan, with monthly caps running from 5,000 up to 500,000 emails. For a three-person team at 30,000 emails a month, the Hypergrowth plan at $77.60 covers the volume comfortably.

The catch is the modular pricing. Sending, lead data credits and inbox placement testing are three separate subscriptions. A full setup lands between $180 and $475 a month, which is well above the $37.60 entry price people quote.
There is one more thing worth knowing before you buy domains through them. Users report that domains purchased through the done-for-you service stay with Instantly, which complicates leaving later. I went deeper on the platform in this Instantly review.
Agencies pick Smartlead for one reason, and it is the whitelabel client workspace at $29 a month per client.
The core plan is also the cheapest serious option here. Pro at $78 a month covers 90,000 sends and 30,000 contacts, with unlimited mailboxes and unlimited team members. For a three-person team, that beats almost everything else on this list.

Add-ons are where the maths changes. SmartDelivery for inbox placement testing starts at $49 a month, the premium warm-up pool costs $59, and whitelabel is charged per client. An agency running five clients can easily double the base plan cost.
The review split is also worth your attention. Smartlead holds 4.5 on G2 but sits at 2.9 on Trustpilot, with complaints concentrated on billing friction and support response times. I looked at the platform in full in this Smartlead review.
If the thing pushing you off Snov.io is the complete absence of phone data, Apollo.io is the most direct fix.
The database covers 240 million contacts, and credits come per seat per year rather than per account. A Professional seat carries 48,000 credits granted upfront, which is generous until you start revealing phone numbers at 8 credits each. One thousand mobile numbers costs 8,000 credits.
Bombora intent data and a built-in dialer with call recording are the real differentiators. Neither Snov.io nor any pure sending tool here offers them.

The gap you need to plan around is warm-up. Apollo discontinued peer-to-peer warm-up in 2024 and replaced it with volume pacing, which does not build sender reputation. You will be buying a warmup tool separately. For the wider category, I compared the options in this roundup of Apollo alternatives.
Channel coverage is the pitch here, and Reply.io covers more of them than anything else on this list.
Email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS, and WhatsApp all run inside a single sequence builder. The database claims over a billion contacts across 150+ countries, which is double Snov.io's figure.
Jason AI is the standalone AI SDR, and it starts at $500 a month on top of your base plan. That is the headline feature, and it costs about as much as a second tool.

Two things give me pause. The per-user pricing puts three SDRs at $267 a month on Multichannel, and warm-up is not clearly documented anywhere on the pricing or feature pages. If deliverability infrastructure matters to you, confirm that directly with their team before committing.
Accuracy over breadth is the trade Hunter.io makes, and for domain-based email finding it holds up well.
A 2026 third-party test put validation accuracy around 97%, and the confidence scoring tells you whether an address came from a public source or a pattern guess. That transparency is more useful than a raw accuracy claim.

The free plan is also the most usable one here. Fifty credits a month, one connected mailbox and 500 recipients per sequence is enough to test properly.
Where it stops being an option is scale. Campaigns cap at 15,000 recipients per sequence on the top plan, there is no warmup, and there are no phone numbers. Sending 1,000 emails a day through Hunter means fighting the product. It suits teams under 500 emails a day. Past that, look at the dedicated cold email tools instead.
Cognism is the odd one on this list, because it does not send email at all.
What it does is phone-verify mobile numbers under Diamond Data, with coverage strongest in the UK and Western Europe. If your team cold calls into European markets and needs DNC screening across 15+ countries, nothing else here comes close.

The cost structure is the barrier. There is no published pricing, every plan requires a sales call and an annual contract, and practitioner estimates put the entry point in the low five figures a year.
You also still need a sending tool. Realistically that means around $10,000 to $15,000 a year for Cognism data plus a separate subscription for outreach, which puts it in a different budget category from everything above.
Salesforge is my pick, because it fixes the two things that push people off Snov.io. LinkedIn is built in rather than $69 a slot, and warmup costs nothing extra.
At $80 a month for unlimited users, three SDRs pay less than one Apollo seat.
Apollo still wins on phone data. Cognism wins on European mobile numbers. Smartlead wins for agencies reselling to clients.
But for most teams leaving Snov.io, Salesforge covers more of the job.
Start a free trial and warm your mailboxes before you decide.
Smartlead Base at $32 a month on annual billing is the lowest entry price, followed by Hunter.io Starter at $34 and Instantly Growth at $37.60. For a three-person team, Salesforge Growth at $80 a month works out cheapest, because it does not charge per user.
Salesforge includes unlimited warmup through Warmforge at no extra cost on every plan. Instantly and Smartlead both include warmup on paid plans, though Smartlead charges $59 a month for its premium pool. Apollo discontinued warmup in 2024, and Hunter.io has never offered it.
Apollo.io, Reply.io and Cognism all provide phone data. Apollo charges 8 credits per phone reveal with the strongest US coverage. Cognism offers phone-verified mobile numbers with the best European coverage. Snov.io, Salesforge, Instantly, Smartlead and Hunter.io have no phone data.
Salesforge comes closest, because it combines contact data through Leadsforge, warmup through Warmforge, and email plus LinkedIn sequencing in one platform. Apollo replaces the data and adds phone numbers but leaves you buying warmup separately. Hunter.io and Cognism each replace only part of what Snov.io does.
Snov.io still works well for solo users and small teams sending low volume on a single channel. The problems appear at scale, when credits and recipients expire monthly, LinkedIn costs $69 per slot, and the lack of phone data forces a second subscription.
Smartlead is built for agency work, with whitelabel client workspaces at $29 a month per client and unlimited mailboxes on every plan. Salesforge also supports unlimited workspaces and whitelabel, with the advantage that adding team members costs nothing extra.
Salesforge includes Agent Frank, an AI SDR who prospects, writes, sends and follows up on Auto-Pilot or Co-Pilot, starting at $416 a month on annual billing. Reply.io offers Jason AI from $500 a month. Both require a demo or sales conversation before access.
